Robert H. Jackson U.S. Courthouse

Buffalo CourtHouse is a new $130 million Federal Courthouse located in the historic Niagara Square in downtown Buffalo. The building consists of 263,000 square feet & 10 stories designed by the award winning New York City firm, Kohn Pedersen Fox. Joseph O’Donnell now with GLA was retained as the Federal Courts consulting Architect and owners representative. Our role over the 12 year project was to guide the courts project team through the entire development process. This included site selection, design team selection, contractor selection and day to day oversight of the actual construction. GLA was then retained again by the GSA to make post occupancy modifications as the needs of the courts continued to evolve.
